iPod3,1 Firmware Guide

Below is the full firmware lineup for the iPod3,1. Signed versions are the ones Apple currently accepts for installation, meaning you can restore or update to them right now without any signing errors. Unsigned versions are shown as well, mostly for reference purposes, since downgrading to them typically depends on hardware-level restrictions Apple puts in place once a version stops being signed. Each row includes the release date, file size, and a direct download link, all sourced from Apple’s own servers rather than any third-party mirror. This is meant to give you a clear, complete picture of what’s available for this specific model, past and present.
