Why iTunes Download All Versions Is No Longer Maintained

Current Status of iTunes Download All Versions Files
The file automatic pulling and refreshing process at IPSW Downloads has stopped working because of this change. The system that used to provide real-time updates for iTunes downloads of all versions has stopped working. The iTunes section will stop receiving updates because all existing content will remain unchanged at its current state.
For users who need specific versions, it is important to understand that availability now depends on what has already been archived. Newer versions will continue to follow Apple’s current distribution method, which limits direct access. This change reflects a broader move toward controlled software delivery rather than open file distribution.
iTunes 12.8 for macOS and iTunes 12.9 for Windows will be the last available iTunes downloads on ipsw.io and on the IPSW Downloads API.
